+The first night no hot water and the shower was clogged internally, so water leaked out to the whole bathroom, I was asked to come down to the front desk and get the towels myself to wipe the bathroom. The second night still no hot water but the night shift front desk was able to fix it after one hour waiting at midnight. The hotel offered breakfast as compensation. Recommend the hotel to have better staff training and better maintenance on facilities.

+We absolutely loved this hotel. It was modern, clean, and about 300 feet from the Metro. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice retreat from the mass hysteria of tourists. There were a couple bistros at the end of the street and a vegan boulangerie around the corner. We walked to the Palais Garnier in less than 15 minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly. We spoke a little bit of French but everyone there spoke English to help us through. We ate breakfast a couple times there and enjoyed the portions and selections which appeared to change daily. It was a great value for the price. One of the things that really stood out was the honor bar and rooftop terrace. At night we were able to come back, grab a bottle of wine from the bar and take it to the rooftop for a quiet and cozy view of the neighborhood and rising moon. The honor bar itself is a nice setup, too. There are seats at the bar, by the window, and the mezzanine. Maybe they had music earlier in the evening, but there wasn't music while we were there. If there were background jazz music at a low volume, it would have been perfect. The room was spacious and ours had three windows that opened out to the courtyard. Very high c
