“I won’t waste my time again.”
+It’s close and cheap, the bartenders were great.
−Check in staff has never been friendly, and when they couldn’t hear my answers decided that I was the one being difficult. I’m sure they get plenty of business, I’ll take my business travel to a more friendly location.

“The place to stay in Point Richmond”
+A true gem in Point Richmond. We only saw the room we were in but if the others are half as nice, you're in for a treat. And the main building restaurant is terrific, with good, live music some nights. it was a delight. Parking was easy. We stayed in the Annex so can't speak to other buildings but they are close together.

“All great except some noisy times”
+Downtown Richmond
−As we know, the location to train traffic can be quite noisy @ times of evening

“Lovley vintage vibes.”
+Staff was great, the bar downstairs is nice and the food is good. It has changed ownership so not what we were expecting but it was still a decent stay. The rooms were very clean. The soft towels and robes were a nice touch.
−The TVs were tiny and the one in our living room was in a cabinet that the doors blocked. It was impossible to watch unless you move the TV to table in the room. Each room is significantly different in design but if they have multiple available they will let you see and choose. I wish they were all a but more the aesthetic of our room which was vintage but felt more designed while others were a little kitchy and dark.

“I would consider staying here again even if I need to be in Berkeley or San Francisco.”
+No breakfast. Wasn't expecting one. This is a very interesting hotel. We stayed in the Annex, which is a little hard to find. It does not look impressive from the outside but the interior decor is beautiful and unusual with high ceilings, wood panelling, a nice sitting room and eating area, brand new bathroom with marble floors. Compared to what you get for twice as much in Berkeley, or SF, it's a good deal.
−We needed a clearer idea of where the annex is in relation to the main building. Finding the parking lot in the dark is also difficult. The shower door in our room did not close properly and so water leaked out all over the bathroom floor.

+We arrived at night and it was a little bit hard to find our unit. However, once we got in, it was very nice. Just be sure to read your instructions all the way through before you get there and it will be much easier.
