“Fantastic hotel for your trip to Kathmandu whether you are a solo traveler or couple.”
+Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated the daily water, tea, and coffee in the rooms and luggage storage while I hiked the Himalayas. The breakfast had a huge variety that would appeal to all taste buds and nationalities. I would stay here again on my next trip to Kathmundu due to its location and staff alone.
−My room was facing an ally so despite its quiet location and black out windows, I was woken up a few times but not terribly loud for a city location.

“Great stay in Thamel”
+Good sized rooms, good bed and bathroom facilities. The corridors and building itself seem a little run down, but the rooms were very comfortable. Great location to access Thamel and key attractions. Also very quiet away from the busy streets. Also special thanks to driver Nikil for my drive to the airport who explained all about Nepali festivals and answered all my questions! Will happily stay again if I can return to Nepal one day.

“One of the better ones in that price range”
+Central yet quiet. Get a room that's not facing to the street side. Breakfast is very nice, buffet style with eggs your choice and a barista that makes great coffee. Plenty vegetarian stuff. They give a decent exchange rate at reception in case you want to change your money, better than at the airport. All the staff are really friendly.
−Ideally it should cost a bit less to be really great. The airport pick up needs Sherlock Holmes like tracking skills to actually find the driver because they are never where they are supposed to be. Go the parking lot that's about 200m away and look for somebody that might be on his phone with a somewhat disregarded sign lying next to him saying Hotel Jampa.
