+Clean. Friendly staff. Nice firm beds. On site restaurant was fantastic! We were able to get a table for dinner without a reservation. However, seemed like a dinner reservation might be a good idea.

“Our stay served its functional purpose.”
+It was close to the hotel (which was the purpose for choosing it. The pool/bar area was beautiful. It looked like a resort. We were only there one night and didn’t use any of the other facilities ie restaurant.
−The bathroom garbage was not emptied. Gross. For the cost the room was very basic - only one bottle of water provided. No coffee. Two conditioners in the bathroom (rather than shampoo & conditioner) Context: we are not from Italy/Europe When we arrived, that night the clocks went back. We asked for a 2:30am wake up call, which we got. But the clocks when back after that so when we arrived downstairs at 3:30am for our cab, it was still only 2:40am due to that time change. No common sense was applied to our request to ensure the time we requested to be woken up in the wee morning hour was applied. We were up and ready to go 1 hour earlier than necessary needlessly. Note - we had an issue with the sheets and she resolved it right away.

+The hotel was beautiful and clean.
−The menu at the restaurant didn’t offer that many choices. There was not one option on the main course menu to offer pasta of any kind. Not one. Where we not in Italy?
