6.0“Short.”
+It was the only decent place to stay. It had a boutique hotel appearance, when everything else were rather dodgy looking motels.
−This hotel needs to do so much more in the amenities department. The towels were worse than Motel-6 thin and small; there is practically no art on the bare white walls; the lighting is basic; the bedside tables were-I'm not making this up-actual apple boxes; there was only one additional plastic chair; no real desk or desk chair to speak of; only two plastic water glasses next to the sink; no coffee-making supplies; no updated device plug-ins. It was not a room that invited you to hang out in nor would you look forward to come back to. At $250 for a KIng bed, it needs to do a whole better!

10.0+Loved the property, building and rooms. The contactless check in was flawless. I would recommend that if you have guests the coffee shop be open on Sunday and the bar be open longer than 5-9. Wonderful place that we will be back regardless of my suggestions
+Stylish, serene and simply amazing! Dayton is a hidden away gem in the middle of the Palouse. There is no way you’d expect a renovated design classic like the Hardware in this small, rural but impeccably well kept, town The handcrafted cocktail bar, The Bobcat, is icing on the cake. We will be back. We are searching for a reason to pass by this way again simply for the Hotel Hardware Totally Epic! (In a very stylish understated way)

6.0+Hotel is clean, but very sparse. There is no on site staff. Room didn’t have any cups, or coffee, or soap at the bathroom sink, only in the shower. Beds were nice and comfortable, but that and some night stands were the only furnishings. When I got to the hotel I couldn’t get in and had to call to figure out how to get in. Was supposed to get an email with checkin instructions but never did. I was supposed to be able to pay at the hotel when I booked but they charged my card right away, which made sense once I got there and realized that wouldn’t have been possible, but it shouldn’t be offered as an option when checking out on Expedia.
“Best place to stay in Dayton WA”
+Best place to Stay in Dayton WA!!! Beautifully redone. Love everything about it!!!
+I loved the character and design. The mix of old and new was really cool. I only wish there had been more amenities. The sheet said there was coffee in the lobby but the room where it was supposed to be was locked our entire stay.
+Absolutely wonderful stay!!! Beautiful hotel, room was gorgeous, bed was so comfy, all around an awesome place to stay. Will definitely be staying here again.
+Nice property. beautiful lobby, spacious rooms with nice furnishings. lobby is not staffed. you pre-check in via email and they email you a four digit code to enter the property and your room. its a two story building but no elevator so ask for a ground floor room if you cant climb stairs. nice roof top outdoor deck. ground level bar and bottle shop opens at 4pm. Bartender was very nice and helpful. Room was minimally furnished so there is no where to sit other than the bed. i brought work with me and there was no desk either so i had to lay on the bed to send some email. A self serve coffee or tea station in the lobby is a also a need. otherwise i would have given 5 stars.
+Renovated old building turned into very modern history filled hotel. Fun old horse equipment and assorted antiques add character to otherwise minimalist decor. My only suggestion is there was no chair or desk in my room. Had work and meetings to attend while here.
+Dayton is a cute town and the hotel is a gem! We had a chance to meet the owner who is as personable and hospitable as he could be. Rooms were spacious with antique windows and high ceilings. We had a great stay and will return here if staying in Dayton.
