“Gilbert & Flora - lovely 3 night stay”
+A very quirky hotel in a good way! Evening meal in & Flora restaurant, fabulous. Breakfast choice good. Great coffee. Reception staff very accommodating. Close to U trains and transport.
−Booked a standard double room, fair enough, but didn't expect it to be that small. Also the bathroom very small, you literally could hit your head on the shower door when sitting on the loo! 😉. Next to the elevator, aircon made noise for around 10 mins after switch off, and some noise from street behind hotel. Apart from that, all good! X

“Good value for Vienna in this one of a kind property in quiet area yet within walking of main sights”
+Beautiful hotel outside the bustle but easily walkable. Helpful staff helped my spouse locate his lost phone. Expansive breakfast. Room very unique with vinyl record player and modern furnishings. Balcony a plus!

+Very stylish and just next door to the museum quarter and within easy walk of Vienna sights.
−The view is of a street, but this is a city centre hotel

+The junior suite has of course all extras anyone would ever want: two balconies, bathtub and shower and a large amount of space. There is a bluetooth speaker and even a vinyl record player + some vinyls to try it all out. The minibar is included and has more and has decent things inside it. Breakfast is amazing, there are a lot of tasty options which are unusual for most hotels. The interior design is also very pretty.
−The bed/mattress combination is a little odd. The bedframe is a little bit wider than the mattress, exactly so that you can easily hit your ankle on it when getting out of bed. The bedside power outlets are only USB-A, there are not even normal power outlets near the bed. So charging your phone is searching for any outlet somehwere in the hotel, since USB-A is extremely uncommon these days.
