“Fantastic 2 night stay in Amsterdam in a convenient, quiet location.”
+The hotel was very clean and easy to find. It is approx 30 seconds from a tram stop and can get to Dam Square within 5 minutes. Check in was unusual, but very easy to get ahold of staff when needed. The staff kindly decorated the room for my partner’s birthday which was a really nice touch. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel on the day of check out as we weren’t leaving Amsterdam until the evening.
−Be mindful that there isn’t a lift in the hotel due to the size of the property so if you struggle with small, steep stairs be sure to request a ground floor room if possible! As seen in other reviews, you can also hear other people through the walls but understandably it is an old building.

“A comfortable quaint room in a great location within walking distance to so many attractions.”
+Bed was comfortable and it was easy to regulate the temperature of the room. Even though there was not a lot of room, there was enough for what we needed. It was a quaint and unique room. The location of the hotel was perfect to find good food and it was within walking distance to several attractions.
−We could hear the people above us walking constantly. I do not know how many people were up there but it seemed like they did nothing but walk.

“Great base for exploring Amsterdam”
+Great location and a clean, comfy room. Check in was done remotely but it was very easy, simple and staff were available if needed. The location is lovely, both central but also quiet.
−As is the case in most of Amsterdam, things are a little small. I'm quite tall and didn't hit my head, but at the same time anyone with less mobility may struggle to get around. Not really the hotel's fault, but something to keep in mind.

“Good room, ok building”
+The room was pretty nice but quite small. I only stayed 1 night so it was fine.
−There’s no real reception, it’s a virtual assistant and it’s on the hallway. It’s a pretty weird feeling. Also, it’s a very narrow walk up, hard to carry bags.

+Location was fantastic. In the middle of the old section right where you need to be.
−The steep narrow stairs which are typical of these old charming buildings can be a challenge. Be sure to request a ground floor unit if this is you.
