+The only positive aspect of our stay was the hotel’s convenient central location, within walking distance of Munich’s main attractions. Unfortunately, that was the only thing we appreciated about our experience.
−Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience - Nearly $1,600 for Four Sleepless Nights I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Daniel in Munich was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it with future guests. We stayed for four nights during Oktoberfest and paid nearly $1,600, an extremely high price compared to the hotel’s regular rates. I understand that hotel prices increase during major events, but when guests are paying premium prices, they should at least expect basic comfort, reasonable accommodations, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, we received none of that. Our biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. For all four nights, our room was unbearably hot, humid, and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the heating was on despite the unusually warm weather in Munich. We are originally from the Caribbean and currently live in Texas, so believe me when I say we are very familiar with hot weather! We can certainly tolerate sleeping without air conditioning under reasonable conditions. However, the humidity and heat inside this room were absolutely miserable. Opening the windows was not a realistic solution either,

+Convenient to the old town area. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Reasonable price.
−A/C did not work very well and the room became very warm. Opening the windows let all the street noise in.

“Zimmer abgewohnt, Bad katastrophal”
+Die Matratze im Bett war sehr angenehm. CheckIn lief gut.
−Das Bad war extrem klein: keine Möglichkeit vernünftig auf dem WC zu sitzen, das Waschbecken lief kaum ab, die Deckenhöhe Dusche war nur ca. 1,80m - bei meiner Körpergröße von knapp 2m konnte ich in der Dusche nicht aufrecht stehen. Das Zimmer war sehr abgewohnt und ebenso wie das Bad hochgradig sanierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, aber die warmen Teile (z.B. Speck) waren nicht abgedeckt und daher trocken. Man merkt dem Hotel an, dass Dinge teils lieblos repariert wurden (beispielsweise der Boden im Jahrzehnte alten Aufzug).
