“Good stop for Shuttle - No restaurant food on Sunday.”
+Good place to stay before taking the Shuttle Train to England. Decor in the new building was good - They should use the carpet and colour scheme in the main reception rooms in the chateau.
−Our room smelt a bit strange. Would have like to be able to open a window however as ground floor was not possible. The pool is very strange too with a ledge at one end making it difficult to do lengths. The grill is only open in the winter which was disappointing as was looking forward to trying it.

“Endurance test, but the staff were as helpful as possible under difficult circumstances”
+Room was damp and leaked when it rained, all my clothes in the wardrobe were wet and we had to move rooms twice during our stay
−The above and the fact there was no lunch available

“Good location for Eurotunnel”
+Ideally located within 45 minutes from Eurotunnel this iconic Chateau has a grandiose appearance and is set in its own spacious grounds. The staff ore very welcoming and helpful. We pre-booked dinner and were not disappointed. Our room was not particularly specious but it provided for all our needs and there was an en-suite bathroom. Being on the ground floor meant easy access to the rest of the buildings facilities. This will now be our place to stay when returning to the UK from holiday further south in France.

“Nice hotel,”
+Nice location, beautiful setting, nice breakfast, the lady receptionist in the morning was very nice and funny
−Room was a little on the small side, and when we got to the hotel the reception team was friendly but didn’t explain much about the hotel ie where to go for breakfast, where the pool was etc

“Good one night stay and close to Le Shuttle”
+It’s character, charm and the grounds it was set in. It had ample parking and its location was good, only being 30 minutes from Le Shuttle. The food in the restaurant was lovely, service was great and good value. Just remember you need to book a dinner reservation before you arrive. The staff were helpful and friendly. I am sure the access to the pool would have been good, but we didn’t use it. We were only there for one night.
−It was a bit tired and an upgrade would be beneficial on such a beautiful building. The shower was warm but the pressure was not great.
