“Well located but a little outdated”
+The Carlton Munich is well located in the city, close to many of the main attractions, gardens and shopping area. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.
−While it may vary if you go up a grade, the decor of the "superior single" room with terrace was outdated and shabby. The bathroom was adequate but there was no hot water on the first night (not advised on check in) and others smoking outside made it impossible to use the tiny balcony with any pleasure throughout the 3-day stay. The little single bed was comfortable but didn't make up for the other deficiencies in the room.

+It seemed like an old family hotel. Good cafes nearby, and good Indian restaurant next door. Very close by an S bahn stop. Also near museums

“Great location and staff were lovely”
+Location and staff were excellent
−Having to climb stairs with our luggage as the lift didn’t go to the top floor - when making our booking it would have been nice to know this in advance
