“Great hotel, fantastic location, helpful, friendly and responsive staff. Excellent for a short stay”
+The staff were, without exception, helpful, friendly and responsive. A request I made the night before our arrival and I received an immediate positive response . The outdoor patio was a lovely breakfast setting and a little haven for some outdoor peace. Whilst the bedroom area was "snug" overall the room was great for a short stay, and the en-suite bathroom was a perfectly good size. The location was probably the most important aspect of the hotel. Everywhere was walkable therefore we had no need to deal with transport or traffic. The hotel was close enough to all the attractions to be able to return to in between daytime and evening activities. Although not a glamorous hotel, nor glamorous location, for a short sightseeing break it was ideal.
−The room was functional and a little tight on space; the gap between the food and the bed was so tight even getting a suitcase through was a challenge. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit and have a drink inside, but as we were there in the summer, the patio made a perfect alternative.

“Great few days in Firenze and comfortable stay at Hotel Boston”
+A good location, close to the train station (we did a day trip to Bologna) and short walk into the centre of things in Firenze. Good shower and air conditioning and very good breakfast and staff.
−The parking (if you need to use it) is BEFORE you drive up to the hotel, so make sure you go there first!

“A good place to be close in to what Florence has to offer.”
+This was a good hotel for the price when staying in Florence. I would go back. The location makes it convenient to much of the cities offerings and parking wasn't that far away. Once you get used to the roads around the city, it's not that bad coming and going at your own pace. Plenty of amenities around the hotel or a short walk away from convenience stores to restaurants. The courtyard for breakfast was great as was the nice woman who worked the room during breakfast service. Great experience and I'd recommend this hotel if you come to Florence.
−As with many places in Italy, air conditioning is a distant thought. Don't go during the warm months and you'll probably be happy. If you like a cool room to sleep in, go during the early spring or fall - not during the warm months like we did...
