“Unpleasant. If we did not encounter bed bugs, the stay would have been good.”
+Some of the staff were great. The breakfast was very good and the location was great.
−This was our second stay, we stayed here when we first arrived in Florence two weeks earlier as well. On our second stay we found bed bugs crawling in our bed late at night. This explained the bites I got when I first arrived in Florence. I thought they were from Harvest Mites or Mosquitoes. But after seeing the bed bugs in the bed, and stripping the sheets to find evidence of bed bugs, I knew that the bites were from our stay at Bodoni. Evidence being ink spot marks from bed bug excrement. I collected one of the two bed bugs we found in our bed, and went up to tell the staff, we were hoping to be moved (as it happened, both stays at Bodoni were in the same room, #44). When I told the staff, I was told there was nothing they could do as the rooms were all booked and that this was the first time this has happened. Staff said they would show their boss the bug and we could talk to them in the morning. In the morning, there were blood stains and ink spots on the sheets and I had several bites on my arms, legs and neck. When we went to talk to the morning staff, we were basically told that it happens that sometimes bed bugs crawl out of suitcases. I am not sure what they were suggestin
