“Very disappointed”
+On arrival the reception staff were helpful and helped with unloading cars and seeing us to our rooms. Rooms were clean and looked quite fresh. Although corridors and staircases need some updating.
−This hotel has recently in the last few months changed hands. I would suggest any reviews before August 26 are not taken into account when making your choice. We were not made aware of this. Hotel stated it served breakfast either by buffet or al a carte. I even messaged them about it and they responded with "no need to book, available on the day" However on arrival we learned there was no working kitchen so no serving of food. This would have been a big part of our stay so disappointed from the start. Rooms were quite clean, although floors could have done with a hoover and there was no hand soap in the bathroom. I would expect this from a hygiene point of view, even in the cheapest of hotel stays. Mattresses looked and felt new which is the only positive about our stay. Hotel also offered a bar.... 3 pumps for draught beer, non.of which worked, instead we were offered cans of Stella at £4.99 per can!!!!!!! I paid it as due to the weather conditions (not the hotels fault) it was unsafe to leave the hotel! However when we bought the second round it was only £6.99 for 2 cans of Stella and a can of coke.!!!! Clearly making prices up as they went along. We had a problem.in the early h

“Horrendous”
+Nothing, does not look like any of the pictures. Paid parking for a non paid area but told had to pay. Parking was the other side of the hotel on a homeless back street.
−Will never be staying in this hotel again, the rooms were smelly (poo), the floor wasn't hoovered, dust everywhere. The bar was cans and cost alot for this, we didn't bother in the end. We did not get one minute of sleep, drunken people shouting and banging doors, people having sex outside the other bedroom door. Woke up and someone asleep outside our bedroom door. The staff did nothing for this during the night, when complained in the morning was advised that the manager room is on the same floor as us and did not hear anything (this is impossible to not hear).

+The location is great, it’s clean and they had good pillows
−This hotel is advertised with parking which is the reason I chose this hotel and when I arrived i was told there is no parking. So had to pay additional for parking else where and walk to the hotel which was not convenient. Although the hotel was clean it did have a wierd smell like old peoples homes. 4.30am the fire alarm startled me awake but soon went off again so unsure what happened there but it was not ideal

“AVOID SCAM ARTISTS”

−The room smelt disgusting and bed was as hard as rock, came back late after a couple drinks and the guy behind the desk tried telling me i needed to pay a deposit for the key, which i was given earlier in the day when we checked in and no deposit was mentioned...deposit only mentioned when i was drunk he told me he wanted cash i said i didnt have any cash on me so he said "bank transfer me then" which i refused so he took me to my room, let me in and took the key from me🤣 ...obviously trying to scam me thinking i was drunker than i was so avoid this hotel at all costs. Scam artists would not trust them again.
