“Great location and staff. Great value for our money”
+The hotel was in a good location ( close enough to the station, but a nicer area). The staff was friendly. Great value for our money

+Everything was great! The hotel is very close to Roma Termini, so if you’re arriving by train, the hardest part of your visit with luggage is taken care of so easily. The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon are all within about a 30-minute walk, and honestly, walking around Rome is a lovely experience in itself. The hotel is a family-run business, and you’ll be welcomed by a beautiful woman and her handsome son at the reception. They are both so lovely, friendly, and helpful. As someone who is a little obsessed with cleanliness, I was really happy with the room. Overall, a truly great experience. I would definitely recommend this place! Grazie mille!

“Friendliest and most helpful staff - an affordable and convenient stay.”
+I wanted to be close to the train station so I could Easily do day trips out of Rome. This was a 10 minute walk so very convenient. I could walk to many of the things I wanted to see and do. In fact I arrived early and they easily stores my luggage so I could go to an exhibit I wanted to see just 15 Minutes away. The room I took was small as I was solo, but it was very clean, had all the amenities and when you closes the double shutters on the window it Was completely silent. The breakfast area is very nice and it was a good breakfast. But the best part is the staff! So friendly and helpful. There is a laundromat across the street.
−Just make sure YOU close the elevator doors properly or it doesn’t wrk. That means both inside doors and the outside door. This is not an issue with Hotel Ascot but with us, the guests.

“Great hotel in excellent location”
+The hotel staff at Hotel Ascot are very helpful, the room was clean (and cleaned daily), perfectly large enough to be a base of operations,, and the sound proofing from outside is great meaning quiet nights. Breakfast (included in the price) was good. The location is excellent - a 25 minute walk from the Colosseum, a 45 minute bus ride from Vatican City and only 5 minutes from Termini station. There are plenty of cafes restaurants and mini supermarkets too. All round a great experience.
−A couple of niggles. The internal sound proofing is not as good as the outside, meaning I was woken up by a loud neighbour when they left their room at 8am one morning. But that is not unusual for hotels, of course. Also, the power outlets by the bed have the wall socket right next to the bedside light switches, so if you need a UK adapter I suggest a couple of short power extender cables so that you can turn the lights off more easily from bed.

+The room was comfortable for one person. I liked the breakfast - a variety of meats, cheeses, pastries and cereal. The location was close to the train station, which is a bonus.

“From arrival to departure, I was looked after by the staff. I will rebook with Ascot next time I’m in Rome”
+Proximity to the termini, and sightseeing buses. Restaurants nearby were excellent. The room had all the basic requirements and it was ultra clean. Breakfast had a very good and varied assortment of foods.

“המיקום טוב והמלון סביר אבל אם רוצים להתפנק זה לא המקום.”
+המיקום טוב משום שהוא קרוב לתחנת הרכבת טרמיני וקווי אוטובוס במרחק הליכה קלה.
−המגבות ממש דקות וגם המיטה לא ככ נוחה. באופן כללי ביחס למחיר הרגשתי שהתמורה הייתה צריכה להיות גבוה יותר.
