“«A hotel you’d happily return to on your next trip.»”
+My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s not just a hotel , it’s an art gallery with wonderful works by local artists. The breakfast was cozy and delicious, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We travelled by car, and the parking is conveniently located near the metro station; it’s also just a 15‑minute walk to the city centre. We are very satisfied with our experience, and on our next trip to Sofia, we will definitely stay here again.

+Great location, quarky decor and large size of the room
−Some upgrades would be recommended. Bathroom equipment wasn't working. All the bars and even restaurant were closed in the evening so we went out. Can be seen as a bonus. Cooked frozen vegetables at the breakfast buffet and blue fried eggs was a spoiler for such a caliber hotel.

“Underwhelming and not worthy of 5 star”
+Hotel was fine, the room was dated but generally ok. A huge amount of art displayed throughout the hotel, quite unbelievable the amount of pictures that they have on the walls. The breakfast was fine.
−I was disappointed by the leisure facilities/pool. The hot tub was empty of water and therefore out of use. The sauna and steam room were not included in the price and had to be paid for separately, I have not encountered this before. There was quite a strong smell from the floor drain in the bathroom which travels into the bedroom. The location wasn’t as central as described. The lobby bar was not staffed at anytime during my stay. It seems to be rated as a 5 star but I don’t think it deserves such a high rating.

“Our impressions was very positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!”
+Hotel Anel exceeded all our expectations! Since our first stay, we have returned twice, and each time the hotel has impressed us even more. Excellent rooms, wonderful staff, a very good breakfast, and completely hassle-free parking. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They gave us useful information about the city, explained everything we needed to know, and quickly resolved any questions or issues we had during our stay. During our third stay, we also decided to try the hotel restaurant for dinner. It pleasantly surprised us with both its lovely atmosphere and delicious food. We had a truly wonderful meal, and the prices were very reasonable! Our impressions couldn't be more positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! We always remember our stays at Anel with warmth and the fondest memories. It's definitely a place we would love to return to again and again!

“Great place if you need to stay few days and require also a bit more spacy apartment.”
+We got extra huge apartment which was really like a small flat, nicely equipped with good breakfast.
−Nothing special, maybe not most "fancy" area, but still 10 min walking to center of Sofia
