“Lovely traditional hotel in a perfect location”
+Lovely traditional building in a perfect location at the old harbour. Gorgeous views from roof terraces and our balcony. Very clean and comfortable. A warm welcome with complimentary wine. Staff were helpful. Good shower. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant for both breakfast and dinner with traditional home cooked style Greek food.
−Nothing really. We loved our stay and couldn't really fault it.

“Good stay for a short break”
+The hotel was clean and smelled really nice. The lady at the reception desk was nice and welcoming. She was very helpful. Location was very close to all the restaurants and the wonderful view. Comfortable bed.
−The stairs to the room and the noises from doors and footsteps on the wooden floors at night. Bathrooms need a bit of lift.

“Great hotel with panoramic view of Chania Venetian harbour.”
+Lovely spacious room with spa bath and separate shower, and balcony with view over the Venetian harbour. Great position in the old town. Excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful. They found us another room to use during the day after our initial booking as we had a late ferry back to Piraeus. Very good breakfast and they even gave us a packed breakfast when we were leaving on an early tour. We also ate in the excellent restaurant on 2 occasions. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
−Lots of stairs but expected for a 500 year old building.

+Location was great and clean.
−No lift so if you’re staying on 3rd floor you have to carry luggage up. Parking was a huge issue it took up to an hour to find parking and often a 10 minute walk away, anywhere you stay in that area will have the same problem.

“Convenient and clean”
+The location is excellent with direct access to the old harbour and the the city. It has a charming character and beautiful views
−I reserved the economy room as it was the only one left so I was expecting it to be basic. The mattresses however were extremely old and uncomfortable. You could feel all the springs digging in your body. Despite this, when I complained the reception was excellent at dealing with my issue and in no time they provided a mattress topper substantial enough so I could use the bed and not feel the springs. They also later informed me that they have ordered new mattresses as they were not aware of this issue. Additionally, since this is an old property, there was no noise insulation between my floor and the one above me. In the mornings I could hear all the footsteps and loud voices as people were preparing for breakfast. This didn’t last long but it was very morning and had to use earplugs.

−נשארתי לילה נוסף שלא היה מתוכנן. קיבלתי חדר קטן (במחיר מופחת) ללא מים חמים!!!

“Σε μετέφερε σε μια άλλη εποχή.”
+Μας αρεσε πολύ το δωμάτιο που ηταν πολύ φωτεινο και ήσυχο! Οι κοινοχρηστοι χώροι στην γραφικά διαμορφομένη ταράτσα, με την ωραία θέα ηταν το καλυτερο μέρος να κάτσεις να απολαύσεις το κρασί σου! Πολύ καλη φιλοξενία!
