+I tried to cancel my reservation within an hour of booking a non refundable room. Expedia advocated for reversing the charge, but had trouble connecting initially. Expedia claimed that OSt Park had agreed, but the system was down and to try again later. I tried, then learned Ost Park would not reverse the charge, a full week ahead of the date. Buy travel insurance. Can’t expect any exceptions here.
