+The hotel was clean and comfortable, the beds and towels were changed every other day. The hotel was perfect for our stay as we were visiting Algorfa for a friend's blessing in the local church and the hotel was mostly booked out by family and friends. The food and drink were cheap and of a good quality. Rooms were basic but that was all we needed and we were aware of this from the get go as the rooms look exactly like the photos online. There was entertainment most nights which was enjoyable and locals from the urbanisation behind attended , so it had a good atmosphere.
−The hairdryer was very old and didn't have much power but saying that, it did do the job... eventually. Not a complaint - but a shelf in the bathroom would have been welcome to put toiletries on.

“Conveniently Located but General Maintenace needs work.”
+Convenient location for visiting family locally. Large room & comfortable beds
−Wetroom looks grubby where floor & wall meet (Room 202) & the drainage is poor because the whole floor gets wet. The shower attachment is not fixed properly so when the water is turned on, it sprays everywhere. Poor supply of toiletries. Noise insulation is very poor. The wardrobe & bathroom doors are clunky & you can hear them being opened & closed in other rooms. Also, could hear clearly the person in the next room talking on the phone at 3am. The decor in the room could do with refreshing & a little more attention to detail with accessories such as a picture or two is needed. The check in process was dreadful. They have a new computer system which only one person seems to know how to use but he kept being called away from the reception desk leaving his colleague unable to move forward with checking guests in. The person checking in, in front of us had to leave her TIE card as a security deposit because the new system wouldn't accept Visa or Mastercard. Very poor first impression. The staff are pleasant but there appears to be too few staff & too much multi tasking which leads to delays to someone being available.

“Sorpresas desagradables”
