“You cannot beat this location. The owner (manager) was friendly and the room was clean.”
+The location is amazing and the room was clean and with the view of the roofs (which I had requested)
−The Hotel does not really have common spaces and the stairs up to the room were a bit of a hike.

“Who needs anything fancier if you're just spending the night and going to be out during the day?”
+The people in reception were exceptionally friendly and had as much time to chat as we wanted. The location was just off San Marco, so very good for most things.
−The window looked out on a lane full of restaurants, and the talk of the people at the outdoor tables came through the window until about 11.00. In the morning came the sounds of workers bringing supplies and people setting out the restaurants. But this was only background noise, and not disturbing. There were several flights of stairs to negotiate, which were not very hard to climb, but could be a problem if you were tired or had heavy cases. The staff were happy to help if you needed it.

“The Snr staff and Management who greeted us and i teracted witg us almost the whole tome (4nts stay) were wonderdul. Fr”
+Location - just metres from the San Marco Basilica and many great restaurants and shops.
−Steep stairway but the Snr management/staff kindly help with our bags - was important because my husband had injured his shoulder and couldn’t lift the cases. As long as you are aware of the stairs and have normal fitness it won’t be a problem. The location more than makes up for it by the way.
