+The staff was nice and checking in was easy. That's the only good thing about this horrible experience
−I literally couldn't sleep there. The bunk beds are 3 stories, I got the upper one - and there is a super old air-conditioning: it's working on and off - when it's working - it feels like a truck engine is next to you, blowing strong cold air. Then, there is nothing for a while and you fall asleep again - till the a/c truck starts again. I recommend skipping this hoatel at all costs.

“Basic central pousada with nice share house vibe”
+The staff is the best, especially Heloisa ! She is super helpful, caring and efficient. The house has a shared house vibe that is pretty nice, easy to meet people and connect around a shared meal etc.
−I felt like the room was a bit too small and cramped. Also there was quite few mosquitoes inside which was annoying to sleep…

“Communal, homey feeling to this hostel. Very small in the best way possible!”
+Great staff! 1 bathroom/bedroom. Only 2 bedrooms in this hostel. Felt very homey. Right in the middle of all the good stuff in Ilha Grande, but still on a side street so not too noisy. Big kitchen for cooking. Very communal vibes!
−We had a very big, tall, heavy set man on the top bunk. The bunk beds are 3 levels. He broke the top level and we were scared the bed would fall on us. Staff were great, but in this aspect, even though we told them, they did not fix it until after we departed.

+The location is amazing - in the hub of everything and very close to walk to and the staff were really lovely and helpful.
−It wasn’t very clean… there were quite a few ants in the kitchen around the sink, they were steaming in in a long line and seemed to be here throughout my short stay. The communal kitchen wasn’t that clean, nor the equipment. My room and bathroom also didn’t feel particularly clean. The fan in our room also wasn’t great so it got quite hot.

−A cama de beliche é de 3 camas uma sobre a outra ,a primeira é muito baixo, mal dá para sentar ,as dimensões de altura estão fora do padrão é muito desconfortável. Não tem banheiro reserva ,se está apertado e tem alguém tomando banho fica complicado.
