“Fun, friendly, funky & convenient, at a nice price!”
+Very convenient location about 8 blocks from the train station. I felt safe walking through the neighborhood with my luggage. Friendly, helpful staff; easy check-in procedure. Comfy beds in the dormitory room with adequate storage space for my personal stuff, Privacy curtain, personal lamp & charging station near bed was a plus. Community bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well-supplied, Community kitchen was also well-kept & convenient, as were the other common areas within the hostel. Although I did not purchase anything at the bar, they were gracious enough to pour me a great big complementary glass of sparkling water with a lime, as I was thirsty after my train trip from Sacramento. The atmosphere in the bar seemed mellow & friendly, and any noise from people coming & going was not evident to me once I went to bed. Will definitely stay again.
−It is what it is. An older building with quirks & imperfections, and vintage appeal, which is a plus for me. Met my needs for a place to stay in Denver, which I plan on doing this time of year for the imminent future. I must say I was unhappy that the front door window was broken. I'm sure that will be taken care of.

“Comfortable and fun”
+Good location , friendly staff, clean bedding and restrooms, nice bar settings , the bar got a little loud after midnight but that is expected, overall the vibe was good. Really good value on the drinks at the bar. People were friendly. It’s a really good value for solo travelers.
−Nothing to complain about

“Not good”
+The accommodation isn't worth the price. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the shower and toilet were clean..
−The room wasn't really clean. Very loud music was playing in the common room until 1 a.m. The air conditioner ran almost all night. The worst part was the smell. It smelled like dead fish. That's why it's called the Fish Hostel. Not recommended.

“It was the least homey hostel I’ve ever stayed at, I was extremely disappointed”
+Location, comfy bed
−So much-I arrived a little early and they wouldn’t check me in/give my the bathroom code or WiFi until check in time. They did store my bag. In general the staff was not helpful or accommodating, sometimes they were downright rude. The kitchen and front doors closed at 2am which was inconvenient, there is also no smoking on the balcony which is annoying cause you can’t just foot outside to smoke. You are not allowed to drink your own alcohol outside of the dorm. It was also loud in the dorms.

“A nice hostel.”
+I guess this was a nice hostel as hostels go. An authentic vibe with included towels, a shower with good pressure and heat, and a soft bed. The staff was very nice as well.
−I think things generally related to staying at a hostel. There was loud music coming from the common area till late, the light in mu bunk wasn't working and there was a lot of dust in the storage space for my suitcase. I also did not really like the location, since it felt a bit 'in the middle of nowhere' to me.

“Overcharged, bad staff & no front door security”
−I was overcharged by almost 15%. Hostel invoice proves this. Staff very unprofessional. Admit mistake but refuse to issue refund. Management ignore booking.com messages and emails. Worst hostel experience in the US. Basically no front door security (remains open or unlocked), with staff regularly aware from front desk.
