“Overall good hostel”
+Overall we had a good stay. The dorms were clean, the location was convenient, and the price was very reasonable. The only thing worth mentioning is that there is no air conditioning or even fans in the dorms, so it can get pretty hot.
−The kitchen situation was... memorable. The hostel is essentially a family home where the owners rent out some of the rooms as dorms, so they also use the kitchen themselves. One evening while we were cooking, the owner sat with us and, although he was friendly, he kept communicating through Google Translate on full volume. He reminded us several times to clean up after ourselves (which we completely intended to do), commented that we were cooking too much food because "Shymkent is too hot and it will spoil," and after we explained it was for the next day, kindly informed us to let it cool before putting it in the fridge,valuable information we'd somehow managed to discover before arriving. He also asked us to hurry because of the steam, despite there being no extractor fan (or even a fan at all), told us to wipe up a tiny spill while we were still cooking, clean the sink plug, and then suggested we start washing up while we were literally still serving our dinner. We'd barely made any mess in the first place, so it all felt a little unnecessary. Having Google Translate constantly listening to our conversations also made things a bit awkward. +The hostel looks like a large European-style house with a very spacious and beautiful front yard. The location is excellent,very close to Arbat Street and Shymkent Plaza, so most places are within walking distance. There are also shops and supermarkets nearby. The bathroom area is cleaned regularly and well maintained by an elderly lady. The staff is kind and helpful. During checkout, she helped me find the correct bus, and since it was raining heavily, she even reminded me to wear a rain jacket and socks, which was very thoughtful.
−The men’s dorm had issues with smoking and drinking, which may feel uncomfortable. The women’s dorm is close to the bathroom, but the toilet was not very clean. The bathroom does not have a proper lock and has glass panels, which can feel unsafe and uncomfortable, especially for solo female travelers. There are very limited charging points,only one socket near one bed, which can be inconvenient, especially if the hostel is full. The washing machine costs 10,000 KZT, and clothes need to be dried at the back of the hostel.

−일하시는 분들인지 운영하는 분들인지는 모르겠지만 엄청 무례하고 불친절하다 체크아웃시간까지 분명히 가격을 지불했음에도 불구하고 계속 돈을 더 달라고 요구한다 매일 밤낮으로 찾아와서 돈 내라고 강요한다 그리고 고객요구도 제대로 듣지도 않고 왜 그딴것들이 호스텔을 운영하는건지 그리고 나뿐만 아니라 돈이 안된다고 생각하면 다른손님들한테도 무례하게 응대한다 이런 사람들은 운영하면 안될텐데 왜 하는건지

−Muy mala experiencia con la mujer que lleva el negocio. Me levanto dos veces por la noche cuando estb durmiendo para cambiarme de cama y otra por la mañana para volverme a cambiar. Las habitaciones no tienen ire acondicionado, dicen que estaba roto con lo cual era imposible estar hacia mucho calor. Le pedí por el servicio de lavandería y lavo la ropa y la tiro en medio de la habitación( fotos adjunts) Me tuve que ir antes por qué era imposible convivir con la mujer que lleva el hostel y por el calor. Solo hay dos baños para todas las habitaciones. Me da pena por el dueño que vino a verme y ofrecerme una noche gratis(que me no quise), pero esa mujer no es buena para el negocio. Espero tome medidas pronto

−洗澡不方便，洗漱地方有点拥挤，空调有点不是很冷，空间很大，床位很多，12点退房东西可以寄存，回去拿行李说人不能呆在那里，没有水可以喝，主要房费很便宜
