“Great stay for young couples or solo travelers traveling light.”
+Great staff and service. Very helpful and friendly. Nice room with balcony.
−A little bit of mold on the glass windows in the bathroom and no extractor fan in the bathroom. Narrow stairway makes it hard to take up heavy and bulky luggage.

“Comfortable, clean, super close to the beach, welcoming atmoshpere :)”
+I had such a lovely stay at Hostal Poblenou :) The hosts were super kind and offered all kinds of helpful information. My room was really clean and the bed super comfortable. They offer beach towels and bag completely free and there is also a nice selection of books in various languages. I also had the breakfast several times, you get to choose two options beforehand, everything was tasty and fulfilling :) There is also free filtered water, coffee, tea etc. The terrace was also lovely. I would gladly stay here again!!

“Utterly delighted!”
+You will have trouble finding more authentically helpful and pleasant staff! Most of the time people in hospitality are nice but you can tell it’s only because of the job description. Everyone I talked to in Hostal Poblenou was genuinely kind, warm and welcoming, so much so it made me feel like home. Huge advantage of making beach towels and umbrellas available for those of us who travel with hand luggage only!

“Comfy and cozy”
+Run by the best team and staff and the owner is the nicest. It is a really cute historic building with comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms, free coffee and tea and option to pay for breakfast. It is right next to this lively street with a lot of restaurants and a quick walk to the metro and buses. It has its own cute cafe area and terrace as well. Would 100% stay here again
−The only thing to improve was the shower head was too high for me

“Very lovely stay in Barcelona!”
+Absolutely best personal I've met so far! They were so kind, helpful and lovely. I really enjoy that, it made my stay much nicer, thank you a lot! It had also an amazing breakfast, very good clean air codnitioning, nice garden, and there were things for the beach (umbrella, chair, towels, bags) for free to use. Also very good location, I can totally recommend it.
−It's true, that the private bathroom is outside the room. It's super close, and for me it was absolutely not a problem, but other guests should know that in order to avoid surprises.

+La posizione per me era perfetta, a 4 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, molti bar e restoranti nei dintorni, zona frequentata, ma molto tranquilla. La stanza era molto pulita, sono rimasta coplita dalla disponibilità e gentilezza delle host. Lo consiglio davvero!
−essendo un edificio antico, ha le pareti sottili e alle volte si sentono gli altri ospiti, ma per fortuna sono stati tutti molto rispettosi.
