“I would definitely recommend this place for lodging.”
+Location is very central. Clean room with AC. There is a shared refrigerator that is very clean. And potable water was a available 24/7. The owner is quite lovely. Always smiling and very kind.

“A wonderful place to stay with owners who treat you like family!!”
+The owners (and their son) met us right at the dock to greet us and take us to the hotel because we had some issues with our ferry and they were concerned for us. ♡♡ And then also because our ferry arrived so late in the evening and disrupted our travel plans, Marysol, took the time and spent the entire next morning helping me to make last minute arrangements for my travel plans back home. She came through to help us even though it was so last minute and there weren't many options! They take pride in taking care of their guests and treating them like family! Also the room and the main areas had everything we needed and it was heaven to be able to have a shower with consistent hot water and high pressure! :)

+It was close to the towns shops and restaurants
−The room had a fruit fly infestation, lots of marks on the wall where flies had been squashed, and dead flies hadn't been left where they fell The floor was dirty and hadn't been swept, I was only in the hotel 2 nights and put up with it as it was inexpensive for the island

“Bait and switch. Horrible place, stay away.”
+Location is good. Near the ferry terminal, shops and restaurants.
−When we arrived, we were offered a much smaller room with two beds than the four we had booked. When we protested, the owner took us to the property across the street with four beds. The room was nowhere closed to what was depicted and described on booking.com. The room and the bathroom were dirty, the bedsheets and blanket had stains. There were no windows in the room so it smelled of mould. The wifi did not work. The neighbors dogs barked all night and the curtains were so thin that the room was illuminated from the street lights all night. Also instead of steps, there is a steep ramp directly from the street to get to the room. It's extremely difficult to enter the room especially if you are carrying suitcases. We tripped atleast 4 times even after being careful.

“Ok for what you pay”
+Air conditioning
−For English speaking guest TV was a waste of time as all in Spanish, so we thought we would use Netflix but instructions in Spanish and nobody knew how to change the language Chanel. Having to pay for water when free everywhere else was a bit of a joke
