“Overall a good stay as a base in Barcelona”
+Great location. Hostal occupies (I think) two floors of an old apartment building, so you will be given a code to enter the building gate, a key for the door of your flat (multiple rooms inside), then finally a key to your own room. Hostal is complete with basic facilities a traveller would need (hair dryer available at the front desk). Staff is fluent in English. I experienced no problem in communicating with them. They allowed me to leave my luggage there before check-in time. I picked a single room with a private bathroom which works fine. There is daily cleaning. There is an old but functional, small lift. Good WiFi. Windows can be opened slightly, overlooking a tiny and rather moist lightwell of the building. There is a screen to provide privacy.
−-Radio music from other parts of the building echoed in the lightwell all day, which can be greatly alleviated by closing the window. However, inconsiderate people chatting nonstop after a very early check-in (I assumed) can be heard loud and clearly through the thin walls, and disturbed my sleep. -There is indeed a slight smell from the drains of my bathroom. It is not noticeable with the bathroom door closed. -Before check-in, I did not have the code to open the gate of the apartment building. I would have no way access the hostal's front desk. Luckily, a lady was also entering the building and let me in. -One time someone left the door to the flat open, which seems a little unsafe

“Affordable stay with unbeatable central location”
+Walkable everything- the metro, attractions, restaurants, supermarkets. Budget friendly value.
−Soundproofing is very minimal ,street noise from outside and sounds from neighboring rooms or corridors was easily heard.

“Good for a very short stay”
+The location is really great and helps to explore the city by foot and with public transport. The metro station is 1min from the hotel It was also very clean, in the rooms and in bathrooms. There is 1 bathroom for 2 private rooms, we never had to wait . The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
−The pillows were horrible. Very high and very hard, we could not sleep at all and regretted having 3 nights there. The doors to the rooms do not provide any noice cancellation, and you can hear other people and hotel staff. I think it is very overpriced for a hostel, but this is a problem of Barcelona in general.

Y estan 24/7. Recomendamos.

“Budżetowa super opcja!”
+Lokalizacja to największy atut. Metro prawie pod drzwiami. Sklepy w zasięgu ręki. Do viralowych śniadaniowni rzut beretem, w odległości kilku minut spacerem. Suszarka, żelazko, parownica, miliony ładowarek - do dyspozycji.
