“Could not have been better for what we wanted.”
+This was in a perfect position for visiting Alnwick. The Castle was 15 minutes walk and town centre only 10 minutes. Lots of pubs and restaurants. The coastline was close and we were recommended The Jolly Fisherman in Craster which was very nice and you could look out to see from the restaurant. it was about a 15/20 minute drive.

“A very pleasant and comfortable stay.”
+George, Owner, was very thoughtfull in phoning us before we had arrived to ask how we were getting on as our train was running really late. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Excellent choice of cooked options , prepared to order. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay.
−There wasn't anything we didn't like during our stay.

+Excellent location for walking to the castle and gardens and pubs and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and lovely comfy rooms. The choice of breakfast is excellent. The hosts go above and beyond. Parking outside in a secure carpark seals the deal.

“Excellent accomodation”
+Excellent welcome and friendly staff. Good communication prior to check in. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Delicious breakfast options beautifully cooked.
−Couldn't get used to the shower room and the half curtain that was a little bit short and therefore the water escaped causing the bathroom floor to get wet. Intermittent TV signal but nothing that spoilt the other excellent aspects of our stay.

“A good central location”
+We had a large room with a great shower. The location was central and in easy walking distance to the sights in Alnwick and places to eat in the evening.
−I felt rushed during breakfast as food just kept coming out. Service just needed to slow down a bit and observe whether people were ready for the next course.
