“A tranquil hotel in a super location”
+Our room was very clean and a good size . we also had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool . Kalgani the owner. was lovely ,very helpful and cooked a very good breakfast . She even got up at 4.30am to make sure our taxi had turned. up. The other ladies were very friendly too. The hotel is in a super location. just a few minutes walk from the restaurants, bars and beach . A little oasis with lots of nature within the hotel. I loved watching a humming bird , eagle , peacock and a monkey from the sunbed. Bliss. I loved swimming in the pool too which was a bonus

+Everything was clean and comfortable.
−Power went out 3 times. Last time it was just in my room and I had to change rooms after returning to go to bed. I did get some help with my things but it was a bit of a pain and the help seemed a bit reluctant.........

“Superb”
+We had a lovely stay, the room was as described with A/C, fridge and hot water and quite spacious with a small table and chairs as well as a small terrace with a table and two chairs. The pool was lovely for a refreshing dip. The location is very good, only a short walk to restaurants, cafes and the beach. The host was also very nice and available to solve any issues and organise a taxi for us when we left.

+Only the pool...
−We were not greeted with a smile upon arrival. First encounter with the evil adult woman... She put us in a room where the air conditioning was not working, it was terribly hot and stuffy, and my wife is pregnant... In the middle of the night we had to move first to the next room, and then to the next room until she found a room with working air conditioning. We carried all our luggage from room to room ourselves... It turned out that they knew about the problems with the air conditioning, but they put a pregnant woman in a super hot and stuffy room... The room they moved us to had absolutely no view, even though we had paid for a room with a pool view... The breakfast was not tasty... The only good thing was the pool. I would not recommend the place to anyone...

−NO hot water, but this was the most expensive hotel in our Sri Lanka trip. The hotel did not assist with the luggage

“Exceptional”
+Lovely big clean room with good air conditioning. Room cleaned every day. Pool area was like a green oasis away from the craziness of the main street. Owner was friendly and polite. Only 5-10 minute walk to the beach and all of the bars/restaurants, but really quiet at night
−Balcony was not very private. Curtains did not fully close
