10.0“A Most Charming Hotel”
+What a delight to wake up to the beautiful smiles, charm, and conversations with the ladies who run this hotel. Wonderful Sunny shared the story of the last wood fired noodle maker (whom we went to visit), "Professor" Ivy shared tales of Vietnam's incredible history, dynamic Min gave us great ideas for things to do; Anna, like our moms, always seemed to know what we needed, and clever Gavey figured out great ways to do things. Next door, we were amazed by the award winning photos and costumes at the Precious Heritage Art Museum, ate the wood-fired noodles made by Mr. M at Uncle Hai's, visited two spas, had clothes made at Yaly Tailors, had prescription sunglasses expertly made at Tuan's optical store, and enjoyed a delicious French meal at Maison Lucien. That's just te beginning of this wonderful lantern-lit historic town, but it is the happiness radiating from Hoianese Tranquil Heritage Hotel - and charming interactions with everyone, including the cook and the housekeeping staff, that made our stay absolutely perfect. it was difficult to ever want to leave.
−The room was a bit small for the many suitcases that we brought, but the hotel offered storage for bags and everything was always spotless, delicious, and comfortable.

10.0+This is my second time to stay in this hotel and I will always stay in this hotel. The hotel continues to improve its facilities - they have put an aircon in the dining area, and they expanded their choice for breakfast (their banh mi, cua lao and yogurt are the best). As before, the rooms have generous size; room and bathroom are spotlessly clean, hotel is located near the market, shops, restaurants and spa (everything is a stone's throw); old town is walkable from the hotel. But one thing never changed- their service. They consistently delight me - Gavy, Min, Ivy and all the hotel staff - their service is very personalized and it is amazing that know the names of each and every guest. Please do not miss the Vietnam History Talk and Walking Tour arranged by the Hotel. Ivy was our facilitator and guide on both and she makes history talk and walking tour very interesting and engaging. I find her to be one of the best guides in all places that I have been to.
−The weather was very hot at that time and we would go back to our hotel room and wait for sundown. While waiting, a TV in the room would be a good add-on - though not a deal breaker for me. I understand that their purpose of not putting TV in the room is to encourage guests to go out and explore the beauty and culture of HoiAn.

10.0“A Glimpse into the Soul of Hoi An”
+What a great pleasure it was to stay at the Hoianese Heritage Tranquil Hotel. It is evident from the moment you arrive that the staff have a great pride and love for their job and especially for Hoi An and that they really want to share this with their guests. A half day city cultural tour is included with your stay and I highly recommend this as a great way to learn some of the history and familiarize yourself with the Old Town. There are several other group activities on offer such as the Cooking Class, Bike Tour and Food Tour based on traditional cultural ways. The 200 year old heritage hotel building retains an authentic charm and is in an excellent location within 50 meters of the river, close to the markets and yet somehow remains totally tranquil. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed with loads of pillows, high quality linen and fluffy towels. The staff were always bright and attentive and so helpful with advice on things to see, places to eat, shopping, tailors, spas and culture shows. Thank you so much to everyone who made me feel so welcome as it says on the back of your book you helped me go beyond the lanterns and the yellow walls and discover a tiny bit of

+We booked a very spacious room, it was lovely and quiet, and in a very good location - close enough to the Old quarter but in a quieter area.

10.0+One of the best hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms are nice and exceptionally clean, but what truly made our stay special were Ivy’s recommendations and advice on what to do and where to eat around the city. Her suggestions really helped us make the most of our time there.
