+Fantastic location, 2 minute walk to the beach and amongst all the restaurants.
−Room is very warm, fan does not help much. I think that the room used to have working AC as there is a machine on wall (no remote) but when I enquired with the host he said our room only had fan. Presume the AC requires a repair that has not been completed

“Quite uncomfortable”
+Liked the location, couple minutes from the beach
−The rooms had lots of insects and bugs compared to anywhere else I stayed in Sri Lanka, such as a really loud cricket (I think) under my bedframe and a large collection of ants. Was very basic. Ended up moving to a different hotel. I’m a backpacker and not very fussy at all so I was quite surprised. I think you can get better for your money and go for a clean basic accom for the same price.

“Good, quiet stay.”
+The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. It's quiet there and I slept really, really well. The location is excellent and very close to the beach. The owner is very nice. I had a good stay for 5 nights. I am glad I stayed there.
−The washroom could be a little cleaner. (The walls, the ceiling.) Generally it was ok.

“Sehr unfreundliche Besitzer, würden nicht mehr kommen.”
+An sich könnte es ein tolles Hotel sein, Zimmergröße ist gut, die Lage ist gut und es ist recht neu ausgestattet. Aber....
−Die Besitzer sind unverschämt und unfreundlich. Wir sind für ein paar Minuten aus dem Zimmer raus und hatten die Klimaanlage noch an. Sie haben einfach unseren Strom abgestellt. Nach sehr viel diskutieren stellte er dann den Strom wieder an. Sowas haben wir bisher noch nie erlebt. Alleine wegen den Besitzern würden wir nie wieder hier buchen. Die Kommentare sind einfach korrekt. Unfreundlich und Geldgeil. Außerdem musste ich selbst das Badezimmer putzen, weil es voll mit fremden Haaren und Sand war. Wir haben uns nach der Aktion mit dem Besitzer sehr unwohl gefühlt. Es war ein wirklich unfreundliches Gespräch, überhaupt nicht gastfreundlich. Wir fragen uns übrigens bis jetzt, wo er gesehen hat, dass die Klimaanlage noch an war und woher er wusste, dass wir das Zimmer verlassen haben. Denn als wir gingen war weder er noch seine Frau da.

“Ligt op een goede locatie”
+De kamer is prima qua grootte, er staat een kastje in en twee stoelen en een tafel. Erg prettig. Het matras lag prima en de airco deed het goed. Er is een klamboe aanwezig.
−De waterdruk was enorm laag. Het lukte niet om het zand uit onze haren te wassen. Het beddengoed was dun en aan vervanging toe. De handdoek was zacht, maar voor m’n gevoel moest ik me afdrogen met een douchematje. Bij de douche zaten flinke spinnenwebben. We hebben gevraagd het schoon te maken, maar toen dat de volgende dag nog niet was gedaan, hebben we het uiteindelijk zelf maar gedaan. Die spin kan er zitten, maar de spinnenwebben zaten er duidelijk al een hele tijd. De laundry service was erg slecht. We hebben onze spullen bij elkaar moeten sprokkelen en toen we eenmaal alles hadden, zagen we dat er op sommige kledingstukken vlekken zaten die er eerder niet op zaten. Het lijken op vetvlekken. Ook thuis zijn ze niet uit de was gegaan. Ik zou de was ergens anders laten doen!
