“not my favorite but at the price a good deal”
+phone in room was broken and never got fixed despite numerous complaints/requests wall light switch was broken no one came up and cleaned our room even though I didn't say they shouldn't room was tired and needed an overall upgrade - its cheaper than others for a reason but I'm not thrilled paying less and getting substantially lower quality rooms
−room quality lack of a full spa with amenities like facials, steam room, etc.

“An absolute disgrace for the Hilton brand. Stay anywhere else”
+The hotel itself is in a great location, very clean and the rooms are very comfortable.
−Booked the Hilton Chicago well in advance through Booking.com, only to discover upon arrival that housekeeping staff were on strike, something the hotel failed to disclose. We had four days without housekeeping and nonstop picketing from 8 AM to 10 PM, complete with drums, horns and loudspeakers. To make matters worse, Hilton charged us MORE than our guaranteed Booking.com rate! The lack of transparency, basic service and respect for paying guests is appalling.

“Beautiful building; convenient coffee shop in lobby; close to major attractions.”
+Location of this one is really great for everything we like to do in Chicago. The Starbucks in the lobby is really convenient.
−You really need to check in right at check in time in order to get the type you want; we checked in around 7pm and there weren't any king rooms left. The check-in person was great and offered us a room with a trundle bed, and I regret accepting it - the bed wasn't very comfortable and it had too much space for what we needed. Stick to the traditional rooms.

+Great facilities. I loved the gym and the pool on site.
−The coffee in the room was not replenished after the first morning.

“Definitely was not worth $407 for one night”
+The location was great! The inside the lobby area is very pretty !
−! The beds were not very comfortable, the pillows felt like balled up foam shoved inside a pillow case very uncomfortable. I've stayed at a lot of different Hilton's in cHicago , this one was disappointing. The air conditioner was set at 65 and the room was stuffy and wouldn't get below 73 .

“Niet Hilton waardig.”
+Locatie.
−Vergane glorie. Bizar massaal.
