“Conveniently located and in a quiet area”
+The hotel is nicely located. It's close to Hoehyeon station but Myeongdong station. There are a few quiet streets to get to the Hotel Hill House, but it's not too bad. The hotel is older style, but the beds were big and it was quite spacious. The washroom wall was glass but there was privacy sticker. The door didn't have a lock but it seemed to be okay. The shower doesn't have a curtain but the tiles on the washroom also has a main drain. I selected this hotel because at least there would be a tub to collect the water. They refilled bottles of water into the mini fridge everyday. Overall I enjoyed this stay and if I were to visit Seoul in the future I would consider staying here. Nothing fancy, but it was good for sleep. Coming in and out didn't seem to be a problem (like elevator usage didn't seem to be a long wait).

+Nice hotel to stay at an excellent reasonable price for 3 nights. Wish Hotel manager put easy direction from which subway rather than google map to walk uphill and downhill. The nearest subway is Hoehyeon station exit #1 for next tourists. Request for more packet decaf coffee at the front desk.

+It says in the property ads, daily housekeeping, but the entire two weeks (+) that we stayed, they did not clean our rooms. They only changed our towels and empty the trash can. Staff is unavailable to answer the phone. The day that we arrived , we tried to call the hotel to get directions but nobody answered the phone. No breakfast available at all, even if you are willing to pay. . This made me sad. We stayed at this hotel nine years ago and they have free breakfast and it was a good spread. The property itself really had gone downhill from nine years ago. It will be hard to recommend this property to any of my friends and relatives.

+Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was far from pleasant due to the poor cleaning service. When we arrived, the room was clean however, that is when the cleaning service level went downhill. The room was not properly cleaned throughout the duration of our week long stay. Despite requesting housekeeping to empty our bins, sweep the floor, or change our towels/sheets, the staff either didn’t show up or did a rushed, superficial job. It really affected our overall experience. This hotel needs to improve its cleaning standards before we would consider returning.

+It was located on a hill just like its name and the neighborhood was not that nice. Other than that, it was good and it had a daily housekeeping. Good enough for the price.

+The place is not a four star hotel. It is at best a three star hotel and even that is iffy. I’ll start with the good. The location is pretty good for seeing Seoul. It’s close to the cable car to Namsan Tower and Myeungdong. Can easily walk to both from the hotel. I’d say 10 to 12 minutes to the night market. If you go the other direction you can head over towards the palaces and such. The subway station is close and the street leading up to the hotel has a few local Korean restaurants and a small convenience store. There are a couple of coffee shops and a gelato place as well. So if you’re a tourist, this is a good location. The beds were comfy as well and the AC worked pretty well, although they can be kind of loud. Now the bad. The hotel is in need of updating. The carpet is worn, wallpaper peeling, and overall need of some love and care. I am Korean American and my Korean is limited, but I asked the front desk to call me a cab for my family of five. He tried for like 15 seconds and said he couldn’t do it. I messaged my cousin and he sent a car within 10 minutes. There is no laundry on premises. I talked to another front desk person, Filipina and she told me there is small laundr
