+Welcoming, excellent facilities and provisions. Beds comfy so slept really well. Great to have private secure parking too. Will definitely return if we visit the area again.

−We booked a Deluxe Room with Shower at High Barn as it had high ratings for a quiet night’s sleep before a long day at Goodwood Revival. The host informed us (without explanation) that we were being moved to the self-catering apartment. Then just two days before we were due to arrive, we were informed that we were being moved back to the room we had previously booked. The phone number quoted on Booking.com, etc was invalid. We were whisked straight up to our room without being shown the dining room or anything else. In the bedroom there was just three earl grey teabags. On asking the host for some ordinary tea he gave me just two teabags! I did have to ask for more later that evening. We had a shower and settled down for a quiet early night’s sleep which was impossible. From downstairs a female loud excitable non-stop voice prevented any sleep for hour it droned on. It was impossible for either of us to sleep so I got dressed and went downstairs. I found a girl wearing a hoodie and earphones talking very loudly on a computer. I told her that we were trying to sleep, she did tone it down, but we could still hear her for another hour. This should never have been allowed with no sign

“Highly recommend High Barn accommodation!”
+Liked everything! From the minute we booked till the day we left. Communication was excellent! Given a very warm welcome. Really helpful information about local shops that was needed. Offered a lift to and from the wedding venue we were going to-excellent!! Breakfast was great, nicely presented and tasty. Really nice hosts!

+Highly recommended i am a host myself and you always like to be treated how YOU wish to be treated Martin and his wife were perfect hosts throughout my stay from arriving to departure the property is a very spacious converted barn .
−There’s nothing to dislike , but don’t try and book a taxi ! The host even gave me a lift to my wedding venue on the following morning.

+We had a truly lovely stay at High Barn and will definitely be coming back. The place has such a welcoming atmosphere, feeling like home. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything is comfortable and that you have everything you need. On top of that, the views around the property are absolutely stunning, perfect for long walks in nature and a real chance to unwind. It’s rare to find such genuine care, and it really makes all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!
