+The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The on site pool is great.
−The home had several bugs, lizards, frogs that got into the home and scared the children.

“Lovely space. really basic but clean and peaceful.”
+Lovely self contained space in a beautiful setting.
−No formal dining facilities. I should have checked but their chef left so no breakfast options as expected from a youtube review.

“A peaceful place to relax”
+The cabanas were clean and nicely decorated. The pool was awesome. It's in a nice, quiet location up on a ridge so there was always a nice breeze. It was close enough to visit the Mountain Pine Ridge area. The internet was reliable.
−The mattress didn't agree with my back and we went in the off season so we were the only guests there and the restaurant wasn't open but we did get to explore Spanish Lookout, where we found plenty of places to eat.

+I loved the privacy and the fact it was almost like you had your own little house with a little fridge stove etc the property and the grounds were also beautiful.
−All around I really liked my stay I feel like they could use like some music not like excessively loud or anything but like some music in the pool area that fits the atmosphere like maybe Latin jazz or like reggae or something like that that would fit The vibes.

+We had the best stay at Hidden Haven, it was exactly what we were hoping for and more! We are adventurers, we love to explore, see as much as we can and take in all the experiences. We only prebooked our first stay on the island and decided we will wing it from there. We found Hidden Haven when we started to look for our second stay and it checked a lot of boxes. Perfect location, center to all the activities and exploring in the area. Nicely situated in the jungle. We traveled with another couple and the cabanas were great to give us each the privacy we needed and the pool and game room gave us a space to gather together and have some fun. Our boys absolutely loved that they could play pool and go for a swim on property. They were never bored and had so much fun! Breakfast was available upon request which was super convenient for the days we had a lot planned and it was situated by the pool with a beautiful jungle view. We booked our stay March 8-12 but before our departure day came up we were already asking if we could extend our stay for the remaining of our trip! Our cabanas were already booked but they generously offered for us to stay in their big guest house which was much b

+Peacefully located, the price is right and was a good location to venture out to see different attractions. I had a rental car which helped as this property is somewhat off the beatin path. (Hidden Haven)

+The cabana was well equipped, clean, the bed comfy, good pillows and nice. The swimming pool was clean and nice lounge area. I picked it for the pool table to practice while there. Nice Thor, doggie.
−the bar and food was cash which I did not have enough, and ATM in Roaring Creek, a good distance away, ate my card! Not the bar's fault but did add to stress a bit. Adds another trip to City @ 6 hours driving to retrieve my card once picked up and released by the head bank, protocols....blah blah... I understand bank charges are excessive, however it is the cost of doing business.
