“The staff at breakfast were super friendly, very nice. Good value for money.”
+The room was small, but very nicely arranged and new. Very comfortable.
−Selection of tea and coffee for the room could have been better.

“Fabulous central location, with comfortable beds”
+The location was excellent, one subway stop away from the main Kyoto station. The elevator was a little further away from the hotel, but that was okay. It was an easy walk to the Nishiki markets from the hotel, about 20 minutes. The Gion district is not too far away either, about 15 minutes in a taxi. The tatami mats were a lovely touch. The view was of the tower near the station, which gives you a great way to understand where you are.
−There is no real place to place a suitcase, and when there are two people travelling with a suitcase each, that is even more difficult to manage. Taking out what you need and then packing up your suitcase is a must. The bathroom is a full wet room, and the handbasin is not in the same area, both a plus and a minus. The usb charge plugs were a slow charge, definitely have a plug to plug into the local sockets for charging your phone/tech items.

+The accommodation is conveniently located just a 20-minute walk from the main train station, with bus and subway stations nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean, and decorated in traditional Japanese style. There are also several restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area. A great place to stay for exploring the city!

+It was clean and located conveniently for the airport the next day.
−On booking.com it says there is a shuttle service to the airport. I called the property and booking.com and there is not a shuttle service. I booked the room for the shuttle service. It needs to be removed from the site.

“Spacious, comfortable Japanese-style room with great facilities”
+We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The highlight was definitely the Japanese-style room with tatami flooring. It was much more spacious than typical hotel rooms in Japan, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We had plenty of space to move around and could easily open both of our suitcases without any problems. We also appreciated having the toilet separate from the shower. Another great feature was the facilities. They had a vacuum-packing machine for clothes, which was incredibly useful for saving space in our suitcases. There were also laundry facilities and a luggage delivery service, both very convenient when travelling around Japan. The location is a little far from the main tourist areas, such as Kawaramachi and Pontocho, but there’s a bus stop nearby that makes getting around easy. On the positive side, the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds, which we really appreciated after a long day exploring Kyoto. Overall, a wonderful experience! The spacious room, cleanliness, and useful facilities made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended!

“Esperienza perfetta”
