+Quiet location, really helpful staff.
−Crouching to wash pots and pans, the storm tripped some lighting and felt like the roof was going lift off, but you can't help the weather. Owners are looking into both issues to eradicate the problems.

“Beautiful and peaceful lodge. A perfect little holiday!”
+Such a beautiful little lodge with pretty much everything you could ever need! Very friendly hosts and they also offer a great taxi service by the all-knowledgable Darren! It was so peaceful I wanted to stay longer. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The little porch was perfect for sitting out in the morning with some tea. The host, Mark, made sure there was milk, bread etc. Such thoughtful little touches! I will be back - and if you stay here, you will be back, too!

“Cute getaway from home”
+As a busy couple..we liked the complete silence & serenity....cute country feel to it..sitting outside lovely view, and the local guy, gave us fresh veg from the ground in exchange for a can of beer lol..and a bit of banter.
−We are tall, so the covered sink area, was a bit awkward,but it's only for 2 days,

+The property was well equipped.
−The boundary area around the property has been changed i would say several years ago. Now it is surrounded by brambles. There is very little to no natural light now. There were no cushions for the outside seats. The hob extractor didnt work. The toaster was only working on one side. I think the toilet was leaking from the soil pipe connections.

“Perfect short break away.”
+Quirky, Quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is very comfortable, with everything you need and more. Thoughtful welcome supplies of milk, tea, coffee, etc. All toiletries and hairdryer provided. Very friendly, helpful hosts, Tina and Mark have gone above and beyond to equip the Hen House with all home comforts. Location, on edge of woods with lots of wildlife. Perfect break away. Can't wait to go back.

+We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, peaceful place. The house feels like something out of a fairytale - quiet, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything you might need, both in the kitchen and bathroom. The host was very welcoming and kind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming setting!
