+Location. The host was friendly. The breakfast was fine. The bed was comfortable.
−All the floorboards creaked. So you could hear all movement. Carpets were dirty. The room was grubby and not cleaned properly. Toilet seat didn't fit properly, kept slipping off. Floor mats in bathroom were dirty. Towels and bedding were old. Shower stall was dirty around the edges. Decor was dark and very tired. Only one lightbulb was working in the dining room.

“A very pleasant couple of nights stay”
+Great location, owner very friendly and helpful. It’s a really nice quiet area. Bernard advised me where to go and get a nice evening meal locally. Really enjoyed his scrambled eggs on toast both mornings!

“Perfect for our family stay 😊”
+Super friendly & helpful host. So very genuine, funny & brilliant with my kids - they loved him. Cooked breakfast was delicious, good selection of cereal & fruit for the kids. Family suite was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, and comfy beds. Perfect location for getting out & about, and use of the driveway for parking was very appreciated. I very much hope that we will return 😊

“Friendly, good breakfast but cleanliness could be improved.”
+Location. The owner was very friendly and offered a variety of breakfast options.
−The room needed a good clean. I would have expected to see a smoke alarm in the room and not just on the landing. The curtain had a tear in it. Difficult to fill the kettle from the tap in the basin.

“weekend break”
+Host was very friendly The room was ok. Having 4 poster bed did take up a lot of room, so it was difficult to move around The bed was comfortable. could do with a little updating on the decor. and a little more detail to cleaning of the room ..
