“A cozy guesthouse in a five-minute driving distance from Zell and See and Kaprun”
+My six-day stay at Haus Deutinger was very enjoyable. Even though I was traveling alone, I was accommodated in a very spacious and cozy triple room with a balcony with a view of the mountains. I especially liked that the guesthouse was located in a very quiet area (Walchen is a village situated about 6 km west of Zell am See and Kaprun that can be reached by a local train operating currently only between Zell am See and Niedernsill). The distance between Haus Deutinger and the local train station is about 1,2 km. If you arrive by car, make sure you rely on GPS navigation as buildings in the village are not arranged in chronological order (I arrived when it dark was and struggled to find the property a little bit). The guesthouse's owners, Sofie and Hermann, are very friendly, nice and helpful people that will do their best to make you feel at home. Please note that they speak only German. I still can speak a basic German, therefore we could communicate smoothly. It was also a good opportunity for me to practice my German that I had not used for a very long time before. The room was very clean and even equipped with a sink. There is a shared bathroom in the corridor. The accommodati
−Please note that there are no suppers provided, therefore make sure you have your dinner in Zell am See or Kaprun as there are no restaurants or other places where you can eat in Walchen.

“Great vacation in Austria.”
+We loved everything here, especially the helpful and lovely hosts of the accommodation. We got everything and more than we expected. What could be better?
−Breakfast was great. The hosts tried to make that we got different food every day. But when you eat breakfast five times in a row, you want more variety. This is not a criticism, just an observation.

+The owners were very kind and the breakfast was the best. There is a bus stop near the accomodation so the location is good. Sometimes a problem with communication because the owners only speak German, but everything always went smoothly. We will definitely visit it again!
