+I did not like that you can only use the Hotel WiFi at the front desk area. You do not have access to the Hotel's WiFi in your room. Everything else is good

“Very decent hotel w/ restaurant in Downtown Cairo”
+I had a couple of days to spend in Cairo while in transit and so I decided to base myself in the city centre from which I went to Giza pyramids, Old Cairo and other neighbourhoods.

“Nice basic hotel but noisy”
+Staff friendly, room was nice but I was on the 6th floor and the bar on the roof was very noisy. I was saved by earplugs but still was woken up a few times.

“Did not make me happy”
+The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The room was filthy dirty. I was told when booking through this site that I would have a free transfer from the airport to the hotel but that I must contact them directly- After 3 emails I still had not had a reply so I got an Egyptian friend to phone and confirm. I was then informed that it would cost me $15. I also specificaly asked for internet access in my room which was not the case. Instead I had to sit in the foyer which was like a railway station made worse by people smoking everywhere. My room smelled of stale smoke which was stuck in the curtains and bedcover. I enjoyed the balcony where I could watch the street. That in itself was a very interesting and entertaining experience.
