“Must try traditional Japanese accommodation”
+My husband and I loved staying in this traditional Japanese inn! The owners were so sweet and would tell us of events that were happening Kyoto. They also brought us fresh fruit and croissants! The futon was super comfy to sleep on, and surprisingly the bean pillow as well!

+Absolutely fantastic host family and house. In a quiet area in proximity to the main temples, but not far from the city centre and busy areas. Loads of buses go into the city and back. The place itself is a really cool, traditional house with 3 rooms, a shared bath and 2 toilets. Everything is super clean, bright, and spacious. The family was super sweet, helpful and welcoming. 100% stay in when in Kyoto; definitely added to our experience in Kyoto, and we would love to come back.

“Good option for a medium budget stay in amazing location”

−Address provided doesn’t work in google maps. Directions to find it only. It was a à bit of struggle. Going up hill with the bags to get back down to the second location of the guesthouse. Not clear if we booked the primary location or the guesthouse.

+The location was excellent! We were just off the road from a lively touristy street, but also had easy access to the bus system. The place was very clean. Just know that the owner will enter your room each day when you are away, but she sometimes left a treat for us, which was much appreciated.

“Great experience for an affordable price.”
+The experience of a traditional-style room was so much fun and genuinely comfortable. The host put in extra effort to make sure we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. I slept very well in the beds. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The inn was walking-distance from multiple shops, restaurants, and shrines to visit. For all of these advantages, the price was very affordable.

+Love the Japanese traditional house. The futons was so comfortable. Everything is so clean. All amenities were suffice. Hosts were amazing.

−Stair treads to 2nd floor were very shallow and difficult to go down with larger feet. Other than that minor inconvenience, perfect stay.
