“Relaxed hippie grunge”
+It's cozy and hippie-esque. The bathrooms are clean, there are grab bars and transfer seats in the showers. Just let the staff know if you need more tp or someone left a mess. The rooms could use a wipe down, floors are dusty. They provide fresh linens and a towel. The fridge was packed full, even though there weren't many people staying there. The staff lives in the rooms as well, maybe it's their stuff, or they need to do a regular clear out. It's family neighborhood, lots of kids, you can hear the call to prayer. Plenty of family run businesses.

“Very basic hostel situated in a nice neighborhood”
+The restrooms were always quite clean. The owner was a nice person and came to check in with us if everything was going well. It is situated circa 10 min by walk from the neighborhood of Hamtramck, which is not close to downtown, but has its own peculiar history (industrial history mixed with migration history) and is worth visiting if you are interested in the economic and social history of places. It is close to nice cafés and restaurants.
−The kitchen and the living room were not very clean and did not have a very good smell. The room was very tiny ---too small! And it did not have a very good smell. The buses are very close, but they took forever to reach downtown (horrible North American public transportation system!!!), you will move either with ubers or cars.
