“We would return and ask for different rooms.”
+The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The owners were friendly and informative . The home is beautiful and well cared for.
−The two adjoin8ng rooms were quite small and one didn’t have heat and one didn’t have enough outlets or light.

“Disappointing.”
−No one greeted us and in fact, never saw anyone. Sink was backed up. Bathroom was sadly outdated.

“Yes, summer in the Berkshires, but not worth the price.”
+Conveniently located
−The rooms in the carriage house are cheaply decorated: cheap curtains hanging from cheap rods, no place to put anything in the bathroom with a pedestal sink and no cabinet, basic carpeting, cheap “antique furniture.” The view from one window was an uncared-for toddler playground. After the first morning’s cold “hot” breakfast and expressing my general dissatisfaction with the accommodations the owner did offer to change our room to the main house, and provided a discount. We didn’t move because we were only there for three nights. . I would have been happier in a boring but well furnished standard hotel.

“Wonderful weekend getaway!”
+The inn was lovely! This was our first visit to the Berkshires and our stay was very enjoyable. It is located within walking distance to downtown with ample shipping and restaurants. When you arrive the inn provides a helpful collection of information and recommendations for things to do in the area. We met Stan, the owner and he was very helpful in recommending tips for our trip to Tanglewood. The breakfasts were delicious and the chef checked in during our meal and he was very welcoming.

“Pleasant, inviting, very comfortable, welcoming - overall lovely!”
+Lovely Inn in picturesque Lenox, Massachusetts. Owner - Stan - very welcoming, personable, and on premises so responds quickly by text to any issues. Very clean. Service great. Cook and breakfast host wonderful - very personable and great and complete breakfast every morning with a special of the day and other options. Small heated pool which is refreshing and a joy. Rooms well decorated, supplied well, and comfortable. Air conditioning most welcome in a hot week in the 90s. Lenox area has so many thing so offer - walking paths, Tanglewood, Jacob Pillow dance, Shakespeare theatre, The Mount and other historic homes & gardens, The Clark museum (1 hours away), Norman Rockwell museum in Stockbridge, MOCA in North Adam’s. This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Hampton Inn and we will definitely return! Lenox area also have great restaurants.
