“It was very nice.”
+Good breakfast.
−The access in the back to the neighboring business. It's a short cut for people to use and they drive way too fast.

“ABUSIVE. TERRIBLE. RACIST.”
−I realized, as I was driving to the hotel - [ Hampton Inn Kingston - 1307 ulster ave, kingston, ny 12401 ], that while I made the reservation months ago and asked for early check in, I never heard back about the early check in. So I called. … I got Kaylee, who told me “the house staff just got in (this is 940 am), and "yea, early check in was not an option. “ I said I had put in this request months ago. Kayle then started (Yelling) at me, clearly annoyed that I continued to ask for what I requested months ago, “we don’t always get what we ask for. “ That was when I asked for her name. Which was met with the slamming of the receiver of the phone in my ear. I called back and just asked for the manager. She apparently wasn't in. Eventually...apparently when she felt like it, the manager got in - 11am on a Friday. This was when I realized where Kaylee's behavior came from. Head of the snake as it were. The manager - ELISE - told me that "I needed to consider her and her staff's situation"\," she even went on to give 2 examples - ( "pregnancy and heart condition" ). She was Yelling all of this. At me. Then she, the manager - Elise- cancelled my reservation. Right out from under me. The

+I've always enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn..been staying there for years..unfortunately, my first floor room that I always get, was switched to the second floor (I have MS), but I was near the elevator so it was ok..Will be returning next month and, hopefully, I can get the room I always get near the back door...

“I am always pleased with the Hampton motels. Well done.”
+This is a beautiful hotel with modern amenities. I also appreciated having coffee available at all times. The room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast offerings were plentiful.
−When we first checked in, I said, "Hello, we are the XXXXXs." The receptionist response was, "So." I responded that we had a reservation. I'm afraid that I expected a more courteous greeting.

“A little pricey, but very nice accommodations, great beds and a wonderful breakfast to get your day started!”
+Rooms, beds, showers were great! Breakfast included hot and cold foods, juices and pastries, plus much more. The afternoon had fresh baked cookies available! The young lady staffing the breakfast area made sure everything was replenished and available. She appeared to take great pride in her job.
−Really nothing, but the staff could have been more friendly. When checking out, no one asked how our stay was, which we found to be odd.

+Location of the Hampton Inn was good for me. Food for breakfast was what I expected - fair
−I did not care for sitting on the sofa and try to eat breakfast

“I will never stay there again”
+The breakfast was OK
−The train going through three separate times during the night and early morning hours blasting its horn. The air-conditioning in the room is the type it goes on and off constantly all night long. Near midnight and 1 AM guests entering their rooms and slamming the doors. The price of over $400 for one night in which I actually never slept because of all these times being woken up is really an atrocious amount of money.
