“A great place to stay and relax with a good staff and great dinner but far from places to be able to go by foot”
+The onsen is great and an amazing place to wind down after a long day The dinner is also really good And the Japanese room are a great experience for a couple of days
−It’s far from everything, no shops or restaurants near by, it’s a 25 minute walk uphill from the nearest bus stop And while there is a bus that goes up there it’s once every 30 minutes, usually packed and doesn’t go all the way up to the hotel They do pick you from there so you don’t have to walk Being far from everything is definitely not for everyone

+The onsen is really great (specially on a good weather evening). Staff is very polite and helpful. Good choice for breakfast.
−Had a little hard time getting to the main entrance of the building. The food was good but it gave the idea of mostly being small set taste menus.

+The star attraction was the onsen and massage chairs. The breakfast was lovely. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but we went to the sister hotel next door and the food was very good, the portions were good sized and it was reasonably priced. We did luggage transfer both ways seamlessly and we highly recommend the service.
−The outdoor pool has obviously not been maintained or used for a lo ng time. No one in their right mind would go in there, this is not what comes across from the pictures. The onsen however was spotless. We were there for 3 nights as a family of 4. We had two single beds and two tatami mats, we found the room a bit crammed and the tatami mats were not very comfortable, the single beds were fine. There are no washing machines available at the hotel and no laundry service available. No laundrettes in Yumoto either so we ended up having to hand wash, which is time consuming and stuff doesn't dry. The room didn't meet our expectations but the onsen, relax area and breakfast exceeded our expectations.
