“Excellent place to stay in Hagi”
+The location, value, size, and access to amenities is excellent especially considering the lack of many accommodation options in Hagi. It was a really nice homey space to spend time. Because there is a karaoke bar beneath, some reviews indicate a bad sleep, but we did not have that issue. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, and I think you would hear the noise from downstairs a lot more in the bedroom closest to the bathroom, but again it was totally peaceful and quiet in the other bedroom.
−A very minor complaint, but it was difficult to find the parking I think because a small new building has been built between the guest house and the parking lot, making the diagram wrong. I also think you'd be likely to hear noise from downstairs if you used the bedroom closest the bathroom but it was no issue for me.

“Yeah, nah, maybe”
+Where do I begin with this property? It's reasonably well located. Plenty of dining options nearby. Close to Hagi's limited attractions and it's got parking. It's spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It's also surrounded by Izakayas and has a karaoke bar next door. The host supplies ear plugs; never a great sign. Thankfully the tone deaf caterwaulling didn't last too long. The place looks like grandma recently passed away and the kids decided to make a few bucks renting it out. On the positive side, it's grandma level comfy. On the negative, it's grandma level decor.
−This is the first place I've stayed in Japan (or anywhere in the world for that matter) that just gives you a mattress protector instead of sheets. WTAF? We ended up taking the covers from the unused beds to lie on. Do not bring large luggage. The stairs are very narrow and steep. Get what you need from your car. It's a nice place, well set up for travellers but it's very expensive for what you get. Go back factor: Low-medium

“快適”
+初めての利用です。 設備良、コスパ良、清潔感良 周辺に飲食店多く困ることはありませんでした。 人生ゲーム久しぶりにしました。楽しかったです。 着いた時にエアコンが入れてあり、とても涼しくて助かりました。お気遣いありがとうございました。
−カラオケの音はやはり気にはなりましたが、元々そのように伺っていたので特に問題はないです。 あと階段が急で大きい荷物は持って上がるのが厳しいかもと思いました。
