“Good”
+Very comfortable room, friendly staff
−Didn't get any help with my luggage when I arrived, nobody was at the entrance to greet you. First night was an issue with the water, water in the room was brown

“Noisy Marriott”
+The buffet style and the ambience of the dinning area. Limited choice of foods and high costs dampen our appetite for food in the hotel
−The noisy environment by and inside the hotel was disturbing and made it difficult to sleep that we had to cut short our stay. Housekeeping staff would benefit from additional training and some of the bathroom appliances, such as the scale, are just decors. The hotel is living on its past glory.

“Really bad…”
+It was awfull, screaming loud music everyday until 3 am, you cannot rest in this hotel… When you choose a hotel be carefull, this was a nightmare. The room as riped curtains, unnecessary… Food is ok, but people always are trying to hurry you up.

“Another Wonderful Experience at the Guyana Marriott”
+I had another wonderful 5-star stay at the Guyana Marriott. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, and the food on the Executive Level was excellent. The only downside is that the pool gate access to the beach and seawall stroll is closed, although I understand it is for safety reasons. I have been coming to this hotel regularly for the past 11 years, since it first opened, and I look forward to visiting again very soon.

“2 Star Hotel In Georgetown, Guyana”
+I really would like to write incredible review but I am unable to do so. This Marriott is struggling to maintain its rooms up to the Marriott Standard. My electronic door lock did not work twice, even though I was told it was faced. I had to be moved to another room and the new room had a faulty air conditioner. So, I had to be moved again. Additionally, even though I was told about the noise from the public beach, the noise was terrible. Even at 11pm on Saturday evening, the noise can be easily heard. So, if you are desiring a healthy night sleep, then do not stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the restaurant and the food. The Executive Lounge is nice and food is good. The team that serves in the Executive Lounge are excellent.
