“Beautiful island.”
+It was very clean. The bed linen and towels were very nice.

“Calm and comfortable vacation”
+We really enjoyed the location, perfect for a calm get-away. Everything was clean and comfortable. The host was the nicest and kindest lady we have ever met. Highly recommend to anyone.

“If you visit Croatia, you must visit Koločhep and when you do stay at Guest House Oreb.”
+When you arrive you’ll be blown away by the crystal clear water and charming island. Zorba greeted me and we walked up to the property. I was immediately blown away of the view from the apartment, incredible. The apartment was perfectly maintained; fresh linen, comfy bed, clean and tidy bathroom and kitchen well equipped for cooking. There is so much to explore pristine beaches (the nude one being the best), plenty of walking trails and historical sites around the village. Zorba was the perfect host. Going above and beyond making me fresh lemonade and even a homemade dinner. Her daughter Barbara was also lovely!
−There is nothing to fault Guest House Oreb. Some suggestions if you are going to stay on the island; there is only one restaurant that you can go to. There is also a small convenience store but I suggest grabbing groceries in Dubrovnik so that you can cook at the accommodation. I also regret not doing a day trip doing the blue cave tours! Stay one week for full relaxation and reset.

“Agressed by the owner”
+Kolocep is a fantastic island. It's our second stay at Oreb Guesthouse.
−We were agressed by the owner as we wanted to keep the room a little bit longer. The ferry to leave the island was at 3.30pm and we wanted to keep the room until 3. We proposed to pay for another night. But she did not want and she kicked us out while shouting "Raus" in German. (out of my house). The owner was rude. Even during our stay she came while we were cooking (eggplant with olive oil) and slamed the door shouting "es stink" (it stinks). She makes no effort to speak English. And for us she has to stop working in "Hospitality". We stayed 6 nights : the room was not cleaned, neither the bathroom. In the kitchen the bin has been cleaned once. Very Very disapointing

+We stayed here for ten nights and loved everything: the place, the hosts, our room, the island and its surroundings. First of all, we would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful hosts, Zorka and Barbara. You made us feel so welcome with all your thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean at all times and had clearly been prepared with great care and attention. The rooms and facilities were immaculately clean and beautifully designed with a magnificent view. The house is surrounded by flowers, fruit trees and vegetables, all with sea and mountain views - it's a truly magical setting. The island itself has so much to offer, including relaxing walks, scenic hikes, ferry rides to Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands, secluded swimming spots and unforgettable sunsets. With no cars, countless paths and a calm, familiar atmosphere, it truly feels like a retreat. Reaching the rooms involves climbing some stairs, but it's not too demanding. It's well worth it for the peaceful setting and the views. PS: There is a very comfortable Kitchen, clean and well equipped. If you are planning to stay longer, we can recommend to make some grocery shopping in Dubro

+Widok piękny, cisza spokój. Najwyższa klasa czystości. Uprzejmi i mili gospodarze. Polecam szczególnie dla osób chcących odpocząć od zgiełku i gwaru. Na wyspie jeden sklep zaopatrywany zgodnie z przypłynięciami promów (świeże pieczywo ok. godz. 11.00). Trzy konoby (bary).
