+Staff was very kind and helpful. On our last day left at 5 in the morning and provided us with a breakfast box and carried our suitcases down the stairs. Room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. The photos on booking.com definitely didn’t match our actual room though.
−Was very disappointed as it said views of the pyramids and a big building blocked some of the pyramids. Construction noise throughout the whole night. Air plugs were provided but didn’t help. Lots of street noise.

“Fantastic View!”
+The view was absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of my stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Overall, it was a very unique experience in Giza, and waking up to that incredible view made it memorable!
−The room had a pillar right in the middle, which was a bit unusual, but it added to the unique character of the place. There was construction across the street, which was a bit noisy even late at night - but was still able to sleep fine.

“One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a budget hotel and we’ve stayed in hundreds all over the world.”
+We could see pyramids and sphinx from our room. The beds were fine.
−We asked to be met at the airport and got no reply either through Booking.com or WhatsApp. We were left late at night at Cairo airport trying to figure out what to do. We finally accepted a tout's offer knowing we would get ripped off. All I can say about breakfast is that it was food. We came ten minutes before breakfast ended and were told we had to hurry. There was a huge construction project going on directly outside our window with heavy machinery until 4:00 am. The water for a shower was not even lukewarm The next day we got an apology from the manager about not responding to our airport request saying he had been travelling.

+Fantastic breakfast, amazing views, and an unbeatable location! It is literally less than 20 steps from the entrance to the Pyramids.
−The noise outside is pretty loud even after midnight.

“Wake up directly in front of the Pyramids - absolutely amazing experience!”
+The purpose of this hotel is to be directly in front of the Pyramids with an amazing view. It absolutely delivers on this. There isn't really a restaurant or bar or anything (there is a breakfast), but if your goal is wake up to a view of the Pyramids this place absolutely delivers at an amazing price. The rooftop view is also incredible. There are other restaurants (and a bar) nearby, but if your goal is to have a once in a lifetime view of the Pyramids from your room this is spectacular.
−Rooms are quite basic and there is no real restaurant, but this was not a downside for me - we got exactly what we were looking for and everything else you might want is nearby. Fantastic once in a lifetime stay.

“Fantastic and affordable!”
+The location was right across from the pyramids - the photos don't do it justice, this place has one of the best views of the pyramids from the rooms and the rooftop area where you can sit and have meals. Breakfast is served each morning by the lovely family that own this place. They go the extra mile into making sure you're well taken care of. The rooms were clean, we felt safe (we are 4 women travelling from NZ) and I would highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Guardian Guest House for your brilliant hospitality :)

“An absolutely perfect stay with breathtaking Pyramid views!”
+An absolutely amazing stay! The host was incredibly professional, polite, and welcoming. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh, delicious breakfast with a variety of options. We truly appreciated the wonderful hospitality and the flexibility to store our luggage after check-out. To top it all off, the views of the Pyramids and the Sphinx from both our room and the rooftop terrace were simply breathtaking. Highly recommended!
