“Convenient, comfortable and a bit of an adventure, finding our way around while the lifts are out.”
+Perfectly located for our function at the convention centre. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
−Needs a bit of TLC

−Lifts are not working. A lot of stairs for a hotel.

“Lovely staff, I understand that it is an old building. Appreciated the notice about broken lift.”
+I thought the staff were just lovely and the building is quite charming. Thank you
−Sheer curtains at the window would allow more natural light into the room without losing all privacy. As the room faced the car park, people could look straight in! Also - the air conditioning controls were not obvious and, when found and used to turn the unit on - very noisy. I was disappointed in the breakfast offering. Fresh fruit rather than apples and sugar free muesli or porridge would be appropriate additions to assist.

+The Grosvenor were so kind and accommodating to us, when we needed extra beds, they gave us another room in a crisis. We are so grateful. It's always our place to stay when coming to the city. Clean comfy beds and in the best location!

“Lovely room for the price. Brilliant location, but maybe wait until they have fixed the lifts.”
+Comfortable and spacious room. I really liked the bed
−Hotel advised me the lift was out. They did slightly understate the inconvenience of this. It was nothing short a maze of tunnels, long hallways, grungy stair cases roping off old unused parts of the hotel and fire stairs to get from the lobby to my room on the 2nd floor. Nothing was offered in the way of compensation.

−It was a shame the lifts were out, but the staff were amazing bringing our luggage up straight away & when we were leaving
