“Could've been better, okay only for sleeping and not much else.”
+Pros: close to Boulder bay and the village
−1.Dog hair in the unit (im allergic to fur) 2. Lack of communication, nobody was in the office for the entire stay, nobody answered the phone except the guy lucky like twice and he definitely always seemed like he was busy or rather be doing something else than helping customers. And I had to hunt down his phone number on booking which was not the one on their automated check in message. Call him directly and you have a better chance of him answering. Another guest had to ask me how on gods earth did I check in because he couldn't. 3. Nobody answered at check out , nobody in the office again. Sent a message to all numbers that were provided because I was NOT going to pay a late check out fee because they wouldn't answer. 4. When we got there, the unit had the door all the way open with no one inside. And the entrance door was flimsy 5. The grounds definitely had a lot of room for improvement. But our bathtub was still dirty and the cleaning person definitely did the BARE minimum.

“Had a nice time overall but don’t expect much”
+Cute and a good area for a day or two stay in big bear
−Very dusty, spiders all over the place, heard a mouse in the walls, not exceptionally clean.

“A good value for a good nights sleep for 6.”
+Plenty of space for a family of 6 with full-grown kids! Like most Big Bear cabins, there was plenty of wood paneling and personality. Very comfortable beds, though 3rd bedroom was tiny.
−Signs of moisture trouble in the bathroom. There was only one bathroom, like most cabins, which made scheduling necessary.

“If it didn’t leak, eveything would be perfect!”
+Good location, nice property
−It was pouring that weekend. It leaked in the bedroom, straight to the bed.

“Dirty, but affordable & roomy.”
+Mostly quiet location, room was spacious, refrigerator & stove were nice. The manager on duty was nice. Bed was in good condition.
−The mice infestation, they set traps after I called initally, but had to call everyday to get them cleared and re-baited. The floors were dirty, your feet would be black from walking to the living area(bring slippers). Old balls of pet hair were found in numerous places. It also had an odor. The pillows were completely wore out and unless you want to eat pieces of Teflon, bring your own cooking pan.
