+You feel like you are back in the early 1900s, except for the comforts of home. Connie and Gary took great care of us and we enjoyed the conversation at breakfast and the food very much!

“Elsah a step back in time”
+So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting

+We really enjoyed our evening away at Green Tree Inn! We were coming down south for car show in Alton but we were looking for a unique place to stay close by and Green Tree exceeded our expectations. The owners are a delight. Room was comfortable and classy. Breakfast and afternoon treat was delicious. Felt like a home away from home. If we have the opportunity to come back we deffinitely will.

“Exceptional”
+We stayed there because of its close location to a wedding we were attending. The owners were very pleasant and the village of Elsah and the inn was so quaint. Definitely a "do" if you happen to be in that area.
